"The ERI personnel, under guidance of field Supervisor Mr. Austin McQueen, exhibited extraordinary teamwork as they remained focused on the client's needs and time constraints. The work at times proved challenging and was often performed under adverse weather conditions. ERI accomplished the work while maintaining a professional attitude throughout the project. They were especially innovative in identifying potential cost savings on the projects."

Bartlett's Ferry Dam
Located in Harris County, Ga., Bartlett’s Ferry Dam was completed in 1926 and purchased by Georgia Power in 1930. Placed along the Chattahoochee River, this hydroelectric plant powers the local area using 173,000 kilowatts of power within six units. ERI performed structural repair of the plants penstock thrust blocks that were beginning to show the effects of age and stress.

Morgan Falls Hydroelectric Plant
Specialized Concrete Placement
Morgan Falls is a small hydroelectric dam located on the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, Georgia. The dam was originally constructed in 1904 by Georgia Power to provide electricity for Atlanta's streetcars, it now provides enough power for about 4400 homes. ERI performed specialized concrete repair to the downstream spillway face utilizing polymer modified mortar.

Plant E.I. Hatch Nuclear Facility
Epoxy Pressure Injection, Specialized Concrete Placement, Crack Repair and Sealing
The Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, located near Baxley in southeastern Georgia, is one of Georgia Power's two nuclear facilities and is one of three nuclear facilities in the Southern electric system. ERI performed repair of joints and cracks to the intake / discharge tunnels and circulating water canals. ERI also performed specialized concrete replacement of deteriorated canal wall sections.

Tallulah Falls Hydroelectric
Epoxy Pressure Injection, Specialized Concrete Placement, Spall Repair and Patching
Tallulah Falls is the oldest and largest plant in the North Georgia Hydro Group. It is also among Georgia's outstanding engineering achievements. The project consists of a 126-foot high by 426-foot long dam built across the Tallulah River just above what was Tallulah Falls and next to a major bridge over the gorge. ERI has been hired by Southern Company to perform upgrades and maintenenace to the dam including: spillway gate replacement and repair, gate hinge componenet repair, and repair of deteriorated concrete on the spillway crest. Majority of the work has been performed utilizing small boats and work barges that allow access to the work site.

Tugalo Hydroelectric Plant
Epoxy Pressure Injection, Specialized Concrete Placement, Spall Repair and Patching
Tugalo Dam is located on the Tallulah River in Habersham County, Georgia and is used for hydroelectric power, recreation and fish and wildlife protection purposes. Construction was completed in 1923 and is owned by Georgia Power Company. ERI has been hired by Southern Company to to perform upgrades and maintenenace to the dam including: spillway gate replacement and repair, gate hinge componenet repair, and repair of deteriorated concrete on the spillway crest. Majority of the work has been performed utilizing small boats and work barges that allow access to the work site.
