Carbon Fiber Strengthening, Spall Repair and Patching

Originally designed and constructed as a retail building, the structure located in Atlanta, GA was being converted to a self-storage facility resulting in the need to provide additional structural capacity to the structure to handle the additional floor loads that would be present. ERI utilized and installed Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) and carbon fiber reinforcing bars to increase the existing capacity from approximately 40 psf to over 100 psf.

Sealants and Caulking, Elastomeric Coatings

Tire distribution facility in Stockbridge was experiencing minor water infiltration and the existing exterior coating was beginning to deteriorate. ERI removed all exterior sealants and replaced with a two part polyurethane joint sealant followed by pressure washing and installing an elastomeric coating to all previously coated exterior surfaces.
